      <title>Hemming of curved metal sheet</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I need to trim the edges of a sheet metal part that is on a curve. When I go to the flat pattern command I can only put a sketch on the flat and not on the curved part. I will attach the part and a pdf of what I want it to look like.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;It sounds like you should be going into Unfold command rather than Flat Pattern command.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;But my preference is to Project Flat Pattern (sort of does the same thing) and then Cut Across Bend.&lt;/P&gt;
