Search Path From Different Directory of Server

Hi Team,

I'm on a trial version of Inventor Professional. I need to open up a Creo assembly file but all sub-files are scattered in various path. Initially in Creo we use a Search.pro with following detail which can be opened by note pad:

So if i want to open an assembly files (with all sub assemblies in different folders) using Inventor, how do i do it?

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

In your Inventor active project file you need to use the "Workgroup Search Path" option. I would suggest that you review this information: https://synergiscadblog.com/2014/10/29/why-its-important-to-have-an-organized-structure-for-inventor-and-a-properly-configured-project-file-part-2-of-2/

So, i created a project file and i added the workgroup search path, but it still cannot call out all the parts and sub-assemblies.

Why is some of the workgroup search path turn red?
