If I follow your problem description - you should be able to use Scale in the Direct Edit.

I have an extrusion that requires post machining. The extrusion has a round exterior with various cutouts in the inside. I have all the machine operations modeled (using iparts). The first articles came in slightly oval. I would like to scroll up on the feature tree, use a scale command, and scale the extrusion in only 1 axis., then roll the tree back to the end. This is something I am able to do in Solidworks, but can't figure out how to do this in Inventor
