In these days, is quite common to have computers with several CPU processors, that provides multi processing capabilities.

I know that it's a very complicated theme in CAD world, due to difficulties to implement these capabilities in CAD software, all the developers struggle in this matter, due to the difficulties on it.

My question is, what inventor can do with multiple processors, and what is planned for the near future.

how Inventor uses multiple core processers now: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Support-for-multi-core-processors.html?st=multiple%20processors

what the future holds only Autodesk can say

Hi Tiago,

This question has been asked repeatedly. Inventor is partially multi-threaded and multi-core enabled. Not all operations can be and should be multi-threaded or multi-core enabled. Some operations in Inventor are serial in its nature and it can be problematic to break up the process and force it to be parallel.

Many thanks!
