How to Dimension a Sketch Symbol?

Hi everyone,

I need some help please. I have created a sketch symbol, I want to place the sketch symbol and then dimension it, the dimension command doesn't recognize any of the geometry for the sketch symbol so therefore no dimensions can be attached.

How have you all done this in the past? Or what was your methodology? There are dimensions inside of the sketch symbol but I cant get them to be visible outside of the sketch symbol.

I don't think you can. You could use the Draft command on the place views ribbon. You can copy and paste these if you need to reuse them.
