Constraints clicking surfacesby itself

hey,

when i started working with inventor 2019 i had te problem that when i use constraints and i click the first surface to constrain, it automatically selects a random other surface.. it really is anoying because it reduces a lot of my productivity and really starts rustrating me..

anyone who knows how to solve the problem?

I have never seen this behavior before, but I am really interested in the issue you posted. If possible, could you post a video to show the issue?

Is it happen for all of your components or just one of the component? Would you mind share a sample part to me or would you mind share a bit more details with some pictures or videos?

Hi Robert,

Could it be related to Pre-Hightlighting? Are you talking about face being highlighted when you hover over it? Go to Tools -> Application Options -> Color -> uncheck "Enable Pre-Highlighting" to disable the behavior. Does it work better now?

If it is related to unselected face gets selected automatically, it will be a wrong behavior. We will need to know exact steps to reproduce it.

no it happens on a not so regularly base.. so not part related, cause now for example, the project i am working on, yesterday really was frustrating, but today nothing happens, since i asked the question... ( pc was not turned of over night, so not a restarting problem 😕

if it happens again, i wil make a video

i will make a video once it happens again. the weird thing is, its not part related, it happens sometimes, and on other ocassions it works fine... since i asked the question for example, not had the issue, but before that it was really frustrating me... (working on same project, same setup)
