2021 Installation

I want to install 2021 version, but in my products it shows version from 2022 - 2025. What i have to do, to install the 2021 inventor version

Hi Vaughn, is there a specific reason why you need the 2021 release?

We don't support this anymore which means we won't fix anymore bugs or security issues that may arise.

Hi! Please log on to manage.autodesk.com and click on "Ask the Assistant." It is a bit tedious but eventually you will get a link to download Inventor Pro 2021.

Hi, I've tried downloading inventor 2021 this way, and am able to get the assistant to give me the download link. When I click on it however, nothing happens. Is the link broken or is there another solution to this?

The link is attempting to open Autodesk Download Manager-- is it installed on your system? Or is there a window that needs permission in order to install it?

I'm having the same issue, but it gets stuck once you start the download if you download in parts for multiple computers or pops up an "Access is denied" error if you do it for yourself.

Autodesk only supports the current version (2025) and the three prior versions. I tried using the Autodesk Assistant, though, and told it that I wanted to download Inventor 2021, which it provided:

I did that but have trouble installing. as soon as i give permission to install an error pops up: "unable to install: An error occured while preparing for the installation."
vers 2021. i already uninstalled every other autodesk product on my laptop.
