Hi,

I modeled a cable drag chain, but the links interfere between each other on the curved segment. Distance between the links is 33 mm. On the straight segment there is no problem, but on the curved line there is problem with the distance between the work points because the pattern calculates arc length instead of space of 33 mm. Is there a way of better approach of modeling? Please see the picture and packed files.

Thanks ,

Thank you Marco.Takx,

I was wondering if the assembly can be adaptive? Actially, I want to use positional representations. If I model as you propose I think I won't be able to use positional representations.
