Hello Peter,

Generally speaking, these two requests are not able to support.

The reason is, each program do own itself data model structure which can't be read and write cross each other.

You can export to step file and leverage something called Direct edit (sorry, do not know the term in Catia) to add downstreams based on geometries.

Hope it helps!

Hello!

My first question is:
I would like to ask is there any way to export models / assemblies to Catia format with constraints?
For example if in Inventor I have an L-profile with holes on it and I export it to Catia format, is it possible to modify it in Catia? Like change it's position or diameter.

My second question:
We primarily use Inventor and we created many elements in Content Center. Is there any way to export it to Catia's catalog? So we could use the same elements in Catia as well.

(I have a complete assembly with many elements and constraints but one of our clients would like to modify it in Catia, but now we can only give them "dead solids" and they can not modify them.)

Thanks,

Peter
