Model Not Showing on Screen.

My model is not showing on my screen but I know it is there. I do not have anything suppressed or deleted but it is not showing. See the image attached. The left image is what i am suppose to see, but the Right image is what I see. Does anyone know why this is happening?Image of Missing Model

Inventor version and what updates have you applied? Also I assume this just happened and it was ok before?

Have you exit Inventor and rebooted your machine?

Go to tools..application options...hardware tab and check the "use software graphics" button.. THEN RESTART INVENTOR and try to open the file again..

Does that work?

If so your graphics card driver likely needs to be updated.. Typically use the latest from the card manufacturers site..

If thats the problem update your graphics card driver then uncheck that box and restart Inventor again..

If it works now that was the issue..

Hi,

I am using Inventor 2018. I have not applied and updates as I do not have the Admin rights to do so at my company. You are correct, this problem just started, I did do a reboot and it persisted.

Make sure that you don't run it all the time with the "software graphics" box still checked.. That WILL slow you down and effect performance..

You want to only use that for diagnostic purposes to identify a driver problem and get that fixed then uncheck the box..
