      <title>Exported Inventor drawing layers all continuous in Autocad</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If I export an Inventor drawing to Autocad all the layers end up showing as continuous.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So for instance if I have hidden lines or centre lines then they just show up as continuous lines in Autocad.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've looked at the options and it seems I've got to set each Autocad layer to try to match the Inventor layer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is a crazy situation. I know I can set a template but really, should this be necessary!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;To get what you want requires some extra steps in Inventor. You have to configure your Save As options and save them as a stand alone file. Next time that configuration will be available for you to use. Just like it is shown on the attached screen capture.&lt;/P&gt;
