I would not suggest simply taking a red magic marker and add dimensions to a professionally created print.

If that is not your question or desire, perhaps all you need to do is within an Inventor drawing is to right-click on what ever dimension extension line you would like to turn off and choose "Hide Extension Line"**.

** means that is what that menu item appears as in Inventor 2023. What you may see may be different depending on what version of Inventor you are using.

That doesn't work how I want it too. I do need to turn off the one side like you said but I want to turn off the same half of the dimension line as well. The reason for the dimension is not not overlap to another section view I created. I am dimensioning from a plane I have created in the 3D to the center of the assembly.
