&lt;P&gt;So are you considering this as your frame skeleton that will be inserted into an assembly and then frame members are added?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you're actually using Inventor Frame Generator it can't be based on an iassembly&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Each model must be separate.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Mark is correct.&amp;nbsp; The problem is, the way FG works is it uses a part sketch to create the frame members, miters and trims.&amp;nbsp; If you try and remove any part of it through iassemblies, the whole FG assembly will fail.&amp;nbsp; The closest you can come to what you are describing is to have the complete FG assembly turned on or off in an upper level assembly.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Three separate FG models.&amp;nbsp; That is the safest best method.&amp;nbsp; FG is a great tool, but it can be complicated.&amp;nbsp; Especially when it comes to the naming of the components and folder structure.&lt;/P&gt;
