Perfect example of contour flange part. If you have non tangent parts or a shape that is incorrect Inventor will not create the contour flange.

Hi,

I'm having an issue with converting an extrusion to sheet metal and creating a flat pattern. The flat pattern is not flat and is super wonky. I made sure the thickness matched the sheet metal thickness of 0.033. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've converted parts to sheet metal before and haven't had this issue.

Folded Part:

Flat Pattern:
