Application Options do not save the moment I close the pop-up window

Hi Everyone,

I'm using Inventor 2025 to do some CAD modelling for my engineering course. As the title states, whenever I make a change in the Application Options, it appears to stay changed until I close the application options pop-up menu. As soon as I close that pop-up, whatever I changed goes back to whatever inventor's factory setting was. It's being run on my personal laptop, so I already know it shouldn't be a permissions problem. It's not a super big deal as I can manually change the things I want to for each new file, but it's super frustrating having to do so.

Hopefully y'all can give me some insight.

The image with the millimeters and ISO standard are what I'm trying to set inventor to, with inventor clearly showing that I have set it (prior to closing the pop-ip menu), the other picture is what comes up when I re-open the menu, and look at the default template configuration

Hi!

Close all files

Change default templates and hit OK
Then APPLY

Then CLOSE

Hi! Change it to a different standard -> Apply -> Ok. Then change it back to Iso.

****. So for anyone who wants to know exactly what I did wrong, the dimension of the pop-up window was too long, which meant I didn't realise there was an apply button at the bottom. Y'all have a good day.
