Exporting threads to STEP

I am using Inventor 2025. I am creating parts to be 3-D printed. Some of these parts have external and internal threads (e.g. bolts and nuts). When I export the files to STEP, the threads disappear, and I am left with smooth shafts and holes. I have printed objects with threads that I have downloaded from other libraries that work just fine. Is there a procedure or command that will work in Inventor 2025 to export these threads?

Threads in Inventor are data-only, with cosmetic texture added for visualization. For 3D printing and export, you will need to cut actual threads. @RichStow you can add Cool Orange thread Modeler to Inventor which allows you to cut geometric threads, which will export with .stp, (this is my "daily" workflow). You can include them by selecting "Modelled" in the threads tool.
