Configurator 360 Errors on Shutdown

Every time I shutdown Inventor 2019 and some previous versions, I get an error dialog box from configurator 360. Any way to avoid this as it takes longer to shut down.

If you're not using Configurator 360, disable (load behaviors) its add-in (Tools/Add-ins)

Hi Rob,

How are you doing? Long time no see! The error sounds like install related issue. On Inventor 2019, you need to have .Net 4.7 installed. You may want to run Repair Install on Config 360 (Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Config 360 -> Uninstall/Change -> Repair Install).

It has been a long time. Been busy. I will try a repair if I end up loading the add-in again.

Good to hear from you - I have another challenging issue that I may send you directly. Has to do with all my imported parts and old parts that I save to the latest version of Inventor getting a checkerplate texture added to them. This was fixed by an autodesk tech on a previous version but continues to rear its ugly head on new versions. (has to do with design data, xml stuff, textures etc.)

Hi Rob,

I think I know the texture problem you are talking about. It is likely related to corrupted or incorrectly installed material and appearance library. Try doing repair install on Autodesk Material and Appearance Library (there should be three in Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Uninstall/Change -> Repair Install). Also you wan to make sure the active project points to the correct Material and Appearance Library. Go to Project dialog -> check Appearance Library and Material Library option. Make sure the paths are correct and there isn't a red highlighted entry.
