Inventor 2019: Bolted connections are not created in selected holes

When using Bolted Connection wizard ,the bolts are created but appear in random places in the assembly,not in the selected holes.Why is this happening?

Hi! The behavior you are describing sounds like an old bug in 2016 and earlier. It should have been fixed recently. What version of Inventor are you using?

I am using a recently installed 2019 .
The bolts appear in random places, in a incorrect pattern.
I have only recently started using the bolt generator.

Could you maybe provide a Screencast / Video of the issue and maybe a Pack & Go of your dataset? Then it's easier for us to understand your issue.

Good Afternoon,

We have just started to use bolted connections and have found that it all depends on how the hole was made. if it is an extruded hole then the bolted connection would not work. Also if you use the mirror function on a hole set again it would not work. The holes have to all be drawn in a sketch and the hole command used to create the holes. You can use the mirror or pattern command within a sketch and then use the hole function then.
