help create Angled work plane at 2 angles

how do i make a workplane to be at 40 degree and also slanted at 10 degree? as you can see below the part 4 is already 40 degree curve from part 2 but how do I make the part 4 also to be slanted by 10 degrees? Please adviceangle block

Offset a plane to go through the area you want the angled plane to be. Create a sketched center line on that plane if you don't have an axis in this location to which you will place an axis using this sketched line. Then if you do have an axis, use the command below to create the plane. Selecting the axis and the plane. Input the angle and it will be created.

i am sorry for asking the wrong question. what i actually want to know is how to make the part 4 to be slanted at 10 degree and and also 40 degree curve from part 2. the picture above only shows the part 4 to be 40 degrees but i need it to be slanted by 10 degree also. Sorry for asking incorrectly previously. please advice and also thank you for the previous information as it was also useful

No problem. Sometimes we have to go through the wrong question to get to the right one.

You can still use what I told you in my last post to mate the part to the angled planes, or in the constraints there is this one to angle your part. Truthfully, I cannot tell which is part 4 from your pic.

Attach your Assembly here if you still have trouble getting virtually any angles needed.

This is the assembly file. Currently Solid 2 is 40 degree to the Solid 1. I also require Solid 2 to be slanted by 10 degree. Sorry for sending the late reply. Please advice.

Hi! If I understood your requirement correctly, you probably don't want to create workplanes at assembly level or create angular constraint between two planes. What you need is to create angular constraints between two axes, not planes.

Solid 2 is adaptive to Solid 1, you will need to turn off adaptivity in order to obtain the angles you desire.
You should then be able to create angles between axes as Johnson suggests.

What version of Inventor are you using?

Thank you for the help. I would also thanks others that gave me guidance. I am also extremely sorry for not explaining properly. I just started using Inventor 2 months ago that why i do not know how to really ask the question. Thank you.
