Selection option tool jumping around

Recently my selection tool has started jumping around. I'll try to constrain, hover over the face, then it won't select but instead jumps a little to the left and keeps doing so until the there's no more parts or faces. This has got my work to a dead halt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! This could be related to shorter Select Other delay. Please go to Tools -> Application Options -> General -> change the Select Other delay to longer period. If it still does not work, you might need to use Inventor Reset Utility to reset all settings. Go to All Programs -> Autodesk -> Inventor Pro 2019 -> Tools -> Inventor Reset Utility -> reset it to install default. All customization will be reset back to install default also.

Which version are you currently working on, just remember there is a defect for select other in Inventor 2018 and it has been fixed in latest 2018.3, please try to upgrade to the latest update.

2018, That could very well be the problem but it's updates and such have to go through IT.
