Join flat panel or sheet metal part to frame

Hey, I'm trying to join a square sheet of metal to the end of a frame but can't figure out how to constrain/align it to the centre properly. Hoping to be able to use the frame analysis tool with this part is included. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I can constrain it via tangent constraint to the frame but can't locate it properlyThis is what it would look like but I've just placed it.

Use origin planes of the tubes or workplanes created on the tubes to the ends of the sheet metal part..

Or origin planes or workplanes on the sheet metal part..

Or origin planes of the entire assembly if centered about the origin

If you are having trouble locating this part in your assembly - Attach your assembly here.

Frame Analysis only works with Frame Generator components - so from the looks of that flat sheet I doubt it was created using Frame Generator. You would have to create a custom profile to use in the Frame Generator to create that part.

You might be able with using Thin Feature analysis instead.

Hey, I created a custom frame for the panel, placed it via a secondary assembly and constrained it to my original frame. For some reason its not being picked up by the analysis tool, though, just wondering if you would have any ideas why.

I suppressed the feature at one stage but I reactivated it later on, not sure if this might have had an impact somehow as it seems to have created a Level of Detail. I've attached my file too if that helps.

That is an image file, not an Inventor assembly.

An Inventor assembly (for your frame assembly) likely involves multiple *.ipt files and *.iam files.

From the top level assembly file (*.iam) go to File>Save As>Pack and Go.

Checkmark Skip Libraries, Styles, Templates and Package as .zip

Attach the resulting *.zip file here.
