Yes, it is possible, i did something simmilar couple monts ago but not for bend table only for bend linear approximation.

It works perfect in company for which i made it. Data is placed above drawing title block.

Hello everyone,

I work in sheet metal industry, using bend tables. Is there a way to create a parameter containing the bend deduction value for a specific bending angle, so I can export it into a drawing for example?

Hi! Indeed, this is doable. It does not apply just to Bend Allowance. Go to Parameters table -> create a user parameter for Bend Allowance if it does not exist yet -> check the box "Export" on the far right. Now the parameter can drive a custom iProperty of the same name.

In the drawing, you simply create a text note and reference either the user parameter directly or the custom iProperty. The latter give you better formatting control. If you cannot figure out, please attach an example here. Forum experts can help guide you through the steps.

Many thanks!

So, do I have to write the value in the parameter on my own? The information of the deduction exists in the file (through the bend table), so why can't I use it directly?

Hi! If you are familiar with iLogic or API, you might be able to link a user parameter to Bend Allowance on the Bend Table. The issue here is that the values on the Bend Table are used and computed internally and they are not exposed to Parameters table for users to leverage.

Many thanks!
