Including bend lines in exported flat patterns

Hello all!

Ive been wondering if when I am exporting sheet metal flat patterns to DXF files, if there is a way to include the bend lines in the exported file?

My waterjet operator would be ecstatic if I could include them in my cut files.

Right click on the flat pattern top node in the ipt file and select "save copy as"..

Turn this option on when DXF out I do DWG but you have the same options for DXF.

I would like to add to @mcgyvr post. He has started you on the right direction but I wanted to mention what you can do after you start the "Save Copy As" process. Once you select a folder and give the DXF export a file name and select Save, you will get the configuration dialog. Hear you can select the Layers you want to export as well as the name you want to assign them, as well as other settings. You can also save the configuration for use another time. Take a look at the screencast to see the process.

I also learned that saving the file as a R12 DXF takes every detail with it, including the bend lines on separate layers. Apparently, suppliers prefer R12 DXF files. Thanks for the great tip.
