Hi! Did you open the part and follow the steps I wrote? That is exactly what you need to get the desirable result.

Many thanks!

Hi,

I want to make a model of a tambour door. I need to make a pattern along the curve in the bottom of this.

I have the part in the middle that I need to get around in the groove. I've tried the different pattern tools, but i cant seem to get it right. Any tricks? 🙂

Hi! I see the issue now. The issue has something to do with Sketch21. The default start point of the path is at the corner, as opposed to where the Extrusion14 is. Here is what you need to do to fix it.

1) Edit Sketch21.

2) Project Workplane2.

3) Use Sketch Split command to split the line by the projection.

4) Rect Pattern -> pick Extrusion14 -> pick Sketch21 as direction 1 -> expand the dialog -> pick the split point as the start -> enter the number of instances and spacing.

It should work.

Many thanks!

Thank you for your help.

However, I dont think i get exactly what you mean.

What is it that i have to edit in the sketch?

What is the Sketch split command? I dont think it can be used for a line, only a curve, or am I completely wrong here? 🙂
