    <description>&lt;P&gt;I believe that it's only possible to apply the same line type for dimension and extension lines.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>How to get a Dual line type in Inventor - Extension line and Dimension line</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am testing out Inventor for a project. It is going well, but I am stuck with a Dimension line Issue.&lt;BR /&gt;Namely that it does not separate the dimension line and extension line. They seem to be linked together. Or&amp;nbsp; at least I could not find it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Below is an image of how I want to the Dimension line and extension line to look like&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Example of correct line types.jpg" style="width: 300px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1363356iF42BA92F7D2D3F65/image-size/small?v=v2&amp;amp;px=200" role="button" title="Example of correct line types.jpg" alt="Example of correct line types.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In AutoCAD I could modify it: see image below.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Auto CAD example - Dimension line.jpg" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1363359iECA7EB601CC89585/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="Auto CAD example - Dimension line.jpg" alt="Auto CAD example - Dimension line.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please let me know if this can be done, or if I need a work around to achieve this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you in advance!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, I don't think you can make Inventor do that.&amp;nbsp; Inventor drawings are meant to adhere to certain standards (ISO, DIN, ASME, etc), which yours definitely don't.&amp;nbsp; Inventor's adherence to standards is not perfect by any means, and it does allow some deviation, but not in this case.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Maybe someone can come up with a workaround, though.&lt;/P&gt;
