SUB ASSEMBLY DESIGN VIEW to DEFAULT to ASSOCIATIVE DEFAULT VIEW, not MASTER

Good Morning All,

Is there a way to get all sub assemblies to default to the associative default representation?

We have lots of equipment that we set up for multiple configurations and when I put these components into a larger assembly, they default to Master Representations, which I pretty much never want for our purposes.

90% of the time in my top level assembly I want to show the Default Rep.

Anyone know of a way to set this to be the Default behavior?

In the picture you can see that my Scrubber outlet has multiple elbows showing, I only want to show the Default one.

Basically, I have 1000 things in this assembly like this. I almost never want to show the Master Reps, but that seems to be what Inventor like to set them to.

I don't know how to change the behavior, but my Inventor(s) have always behaved the way you want yours to.

The only thing I can find that looks promising is in Application Options > File tab > File Open... options button. I don't know if this controls the placement of a component in an assembly, but it might.
