Hello Forum,

i gamble with an iFeature "LongPilot" - it is the end of a tube. the Tube can have the Diameter 10, 12, 16 or 18mm. I placed the LongPilot.IPT. My createt iFeature is asking for a Point and the sketch plane. That will work for tubes that are horizontal or vertical. How can i Change the iFeature that it will without asking take place on an tube that is not horizontal or vertical? Such like the tube at the JPG file.

Hopefully you can understand what i try to say?!

Is anyone out there who can create such an iFeature?

Regards from Germany...

Martin

Hi! I believe this has something to do with the sketch constraints you used in the sketch. Instead of using Vertical and Horizontal, you may want to use Perpendicular instead. This will remove the dependency on absolute vertical and horizontal direction which the iFeature cannot control. Could you try it and see if it works better?

Many thanks!

I dont use rotate any more, i create the iFeature referring to the first sketch . Long Story short: Look at the IPT
