Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue at the moment trying to to use a rotation joint. Whenever I try to rotate the part, the other one rotates just fine, the issue occurs whenever I try to drive the rotational movement I get an error message, and I just can't figure out why. I know it has to do with the constrain on the keyshaft but I don't understand why.

Here is the assembly file, I hope someone can help me understand what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks,

Hi! I think this is an issue with the wrong Joint participant. In this case, the Rotational Joint is between the gear and the motor axle. However, the gear and the motor axle rotate together. There isn't a rotational relationship between the two.

To fix it, it is quite simple, edit the Rotational Joint -> Connect -> click on the 2nd pick -> select the motor body as the reference. Then Drive Joint will work.

Many thanks!
