Hi all,

I just modeled this hand grips via Inventor as one part, my question is; can Inventor fully/physically simulate the squeeze and release of it, also the fall of the "neck" part because of gravity and the rise of it according to contact or friction with the legs?

Thanks,

In the FEA environment I would suggest looking at using separation contacts between the legs of the springy bit and the "neck" part. Once you've set the direction of gravity and apply a load to the legs such that they move as expected then the neck will slide down and back up again as the load is released.
