Could not open default Template file

Hi,

When I try to apply Shrinkwrap commando I get following message - "Could not open default Template file". See attached picture. What is wrong? How can I fix it? Thank you!

Do you have the standard.ipt and standard.iam in your location where you defined your Inventor templates?

Hi! Like Mark said, this is likely due to lack of Standard template files. Go to Tools -> Application Options -> Files -> Configure Default Templates -> select the standard and unit you use frequently -> Ok. A set of default templates will be created. Then Shrinkwrap should work.

hello, I have simple solution on it if you find such error, it means there is no templet to default position, so simply copy these template from C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2020\Templates\en-US to "Templates" folder where you saved your project.
