Customizing display of hidden features in Inventor Drawing

I am trying to display hidden lines/features in my drawing, I can use the 'Hidden Line' option in 'Drawing View' but it will display all the hidden feature (which I don't want).

Is there a way I can pick and choose what I would like to be displayed?

So you just want specific components shown in the hidden line linetype?

What about setting those parts as "reference"?

What about just selecting the part and changing the linetype?

The features/part I would like to display is part of an assembly and the customer needs the drawing to display only that particular (hidden) feature

Sorry.. I thought you were aware of the part level hidden lines feature but you were talking about editing a base view and selecting hidden line for the view style..

What you want to do is find that specific part that you want to change to hidden lines in the drawings model browser then right click on it and select "hidden lines".. That will make just that part inherit the hidden line view style and only that part..
