&lt;P&gt;If I understand correctly, you were talking about the Tolerance setting in the dimension properties dialog. If so, the value column are always gray out which are driven by Hole and Shaft's according to the tolerance standards.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am using the Limits and Fits Mechancial Calculator in Inventor Pro 2019 and not sure if I'm using it correctly or there is a bug in the software? Regardless of whether I set the conditions to use a Hole or Shaft basis system of fits, the Tollerance Zones remain fixed for a Hole basis system of fits.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
