How would this be possible unless all profiles are in one direction in the assembly ?

All parts have their own orientation depending on the sketch plane.

Hello,

So I have been using frame generator for awhile and there is a certain question I would like to get answered. So when I get the assembly and profile all ready and make all the fg components. How come when I go to edit the fg parts the orientation of the part is not the same as the assembly or profile? Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

Usually, XY.

It has no relation to the Origin in the Assembly or Skeletal sketch it is created from.
This is usually a good thing when it comes to drawing the parts.

Hi! The alignment of frame members are taken initially based on the camera angle. To have a persistent alignment, you may want to edit the misaligned member -> Align -> pick a logical reference (assembly origin plane).

Many thanks!

Okay from reading through this and looking more into it I have realized that the origins and all that was actually okay and all that. I was getting mixed up by all of it because the home view is not set to be the same as the assembly which I think is because of the part template but if not, is there a way to fix that? Maybe not be the same as the assembly but the same Front, Top, Right corner?
