How Do I Constrain, Join, or Move Parts In Assembly

I'm fairly new to Inventor and am having trouble constraining, joining, or moving a part to connect to another part. As you can see from the pictures I'm trying to take a pipe and set it in what's called a phosphate tank (in this case this is a custom phosphate tank). The pipe needs to sit 6 in from the wall and from the bottom of the tank as you can see in the pictures. It also needs to be at a 90° angle. If possible, make a video on how to do it and post it to YouTube. Then post an answer on this forum with the link to the video. (The reason why I suggest making a video on it is 1. I have a hard time understanding written direction and 2. Just in case others do to.) But if you can't then just explain how to do what I'm asking to the best of your ability.

Outer Phosphate Tank missing?

Retaining Bolt Ring missing?

I don't think you are quite ready for assemblies just yet.

Your part sketches do not have any dimensions?

How will the components be manufactured without dimensions?

Are you willing to start over from scratch if I provide the steps?

Yes. Like I said I am still fairly new to Inventor. I know how to make parts but am having trouble making the parts to fit together perfectly in assembly and am not familiar with the assembly part of Inventor.

Hi! To ensure all files are included, go to File Explorer and find the iam file. Right-click on it -> Pack and Go -> select a destination folder. After that, zip up the destination folder as a zip file.

But if you are just starting out I'd suggest you look into multi-body master parts for creating assemblies. it can really cut down on the number of constraints needed.

And here is how you pack and go. you can save the last zipping step by using the zip option in the pack & go gialog, but sometime I like to include other stuff in the zip.
