Hi,

It is the Loft. I made me sick.

Would you please tell me where is my error in the attached ipt file. The Loft refuses to do its job

Do you have a picture of the finished product that you are trying to obtain? It's a little hard to tell from just the part file.

I'm just guessing here, but you may need some combination of sweeps and lofts to get from one sketch to the other. Take a look at the attached file and see if that helps any.

This is the same in all programs.

As easy as steps 1, 2 & 3.

Thank you sir for your reply.

But, I have tried to understand how to do the repair and how to find it on the tools ribbon, but I couldn't. So, where can I find the tool "Repair" and how to use it. It seems very important to solve geometry problems.

Where did I make any reference to "Repair"? I don't know how this is relevant to Loft issue?

I noticed in the original file that you posted - that you had an unconstrained sketch? See Attached file for a fully constrained sketch and L:oft.

I don't know what this means?
1. I downloaded your file.

2. I manually fixed your sketches (missing Tangent constraint and others - removed extraneous geometry that had nothing to do with your problem description of Loft).

3. Lofted the sketches.

4. Saved and uploaded file back to the forum.

Hi! Here is one of the solutions. I used a Surface Loft and Thicken both ways.

It is OK, but when I am in the Inventor window, with another part, how can I call the "Repair"? It is not in the right click list.

What other part? Can you attach this other part here? What are you trying to Repair?

I mean in general. If I encounter a geometry problem and can't find the error. I mean it is not logical each time come to you. You may get bored.
