Removing background from circular image added to Inventor

I added an image to my part and when I did I have a black background in the corners. The image I added was circular onto a circular surface so I am looking into removing the black background.

Perhaps you should show an image of what you're seeing so we can better understand your issue...

Also indicate the Inventor version and what updates you have applied to Inventor.

Hi! This may be related to ground shadow or background setting. Go to View -> look at the shadow settings. Or go to Tools -> App Options -> Colors -> change the background.

Did you enable the USE MASK option in the properties for the image?

(Right click on the image in your sketch and select PROPERTIES)

Note that if your graphic contains the same color as the background, those elements of your image will become transparent as well. I always tweak my decal images to make the background a color not used in the actual image (hence the orange in the example below).
