There seems to be a glitch between our PCB design software (Altium Designer 19) & Inventor 2019 when importing this particular STEP file. The 8 odd 'hourglass' shaped cut-outs are rounded slots when created in Altium but take on this strange shape when opened in Inventor either by saving the STEP file or importing into an ipt. I assume that this is some sort of mismatch in translation between Altium & Inventor, is there anything I can do to overcome this. It's not really causing any big problem in this instance, just like to have it displaying correctly.

'Edit' I tried to attach the STEP file but it was removed when I posted.

It seems that Altium only exports as STEP files & does not allow you to choose the protocol so it seems we are stuck with it as it is. As I said at the start, it's not a big problem, just annoying.
