Hi,

Is there a way to place group of punches in one operation?

I have a set of punches that always go together. Currently I need to place them individually.

Is there a way so I can somehow place all of them at once similar like a block?

Cris

Hi!

It's not possible... You have to chose only one at once...
I would go with the @kacper.suchomski sugestion, create a new punch with all the operations... if possible...

In the end I need to have them listed individually.

So creating single I feature does not solve this problem.

Cris

I am aware,

But I am not dealing with punch program but meet to generate text file for CNC that does not have any sophisticated software and only accepts an simple text files with simple set of commands in particular syntax.

So what I am actually doing I creating post processor along with data extraction from inventor model.

Hi Cris,

Another workflow to consider is to use Derive instead. You could create the "tools" as part bodies. Then you may derive the tool into the target part. Then you may use Direct Edit -> Body -> Move workflow or Move Bodies command to relocate the tool. Lastly use Combine command to cut the tool.

Though it is more flexible on defining the shape, it could be troublesome documenting it in the drawing (not punchtools).

Many thanks!
