Dowel indication Inventor 2020

Good morning!

I installed Inventor 2020 from a week and I can't install Quick Dowel still.

I see it in my Autodesk App Manager, but not in Add-in Manager and I can't found it.

Do you know if it work with Inventor 2020?

It seems quickdowel is not up to date to support Inventor 2020 right now, check the details with below link.

This app is developed from 3rd party partner called "3D QuickTools Limited", please fire a request to them to update the tool to support Inventor 2020.

In the meantime...

Close Inventor

Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\3DQuickToolsLimited_QuickDowel.bundle\Contents\Win64

Open Autodesk.QuickDowel.Inventor.addin in a text editor (notepad)

Find <SupportedSoftwareVersionLessThan>24..</SupportedSoftwareVersionGreaterThan>

Change 24 to 25

Save

Open Inventor

You'll get a blocked add-in nag screen. Launch add-in manager and unblock it, check load automatically.
