What is the source of the original geometry - why do you have mesh features?

Did you import an stl from some other source?

Where did you get that image if you don't have a file?

Who does have the file trailing wheel_asm.ipt? Can you request that they give you that file?

If you don't have the file - make up a dummy file that exhibits the behavior of your Design Intent.

Hi! If I understood how Inventor mesh export correctly, it does not honor the grouping. All geometry within the file (iam or ipt) is exported as one mesh. If you need to group, you will need to isolate the mesh and export it as one STL file at a time.
