Hi, If you have a single solid body and you want to get two solid bodies, in your example you could create a work plane on the side face of the Angle (this plane will not intersect with your circular pipe) then use the "Split" tool In "Split Solid" mode, you select the work plane as a cutting tool and then try to get both solids.
I hope this helps with your problem. Regards

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to split a solid body into two bodies. The part is a balustrade where I want to separate the glass and the handrail to apply different materials (image 01). I managed to do this previously in a different part without any issues (image 02). Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
