    <description>&lt;P&gt;im trying to use the same sketch&amp;nbsp; for two different parts&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;in a assy top down design without any luck&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i tried make a part from the sketch which didn't help also&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;making a component which also didn't help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i think you can split bodies from a part&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i tried to upload the part but would allow me so ill try again&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi! Yes, Leo is right. You can copy and paste a sketch to different part. Another workflows to consider: 1) Derive the sketch. You can derive the sketch from one part to another. When the source is changed, the derived parts will update. 2) Create sketch blocks. Then you can derive them as regular sketches or copy and paste also.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you are looking for a way to demote an assembly sketch to a part, such workflow does not exist. You will need to copy and paste.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Johnson is correct, try with Derive and pick up the sketch from source file would be a good choice.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. Create a new part&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Derive and navigate the sketch part, select the sketch you want to reuse&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. Complete derive command and save the part file&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4. Create another new part and repeat the steps&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now, you have two parts refer to the same sketch.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Hope it helps!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
