Good day!

Thank You for the solution. The difficulty is that my constrained point is running not along the circle but oval trajectory thus the "point-to-point Mate" with "set distance to the radius" will not work due to oval radius changing.

So, my idea is to set up something similar to an oval surface and roller lolling on it like in the next video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjkgEqTpeSk.

Will keep you informed.

Once again thank you for the kind help.

Vitaly.

Good day,

Could you please clarify, is there any possibility to make a Constrain between a point of a part and trajectory made from oval?

Need to be one figure move along the trajectory made from the sketch.

Please have look at the picture - https://prnt.sc/psd62j

See the "transitional" constraint tab in the constraint dialog..

Hi! If I understood your request correctly, you are trying to move a part whose workpoint is snapped to a circle, right? There isn't a point to path constraint in Inventor like coincident constraint (a point on a circle). What you can do is using two constraints. First, apply a point-to-plane Mate (between the workpoint and the plane where the circle is at). Second, add a point-to-point Mate (between the workpoint and the center point of the circle; set distance to the radius).

Many thanks!

I think, Rusty Belcher's method (linked above) will do it. I've done similar tasks in the past.
