Hello,

i need to send 3D model to customer, I need to remove internal detail features, only keep outline profile.

Could you please tell me how to do?

Have a look at shrink wrap as you can select what details/components to be ommitted and how much detail they are in.

I have to do this frequently & usually create a derived part from my assembly. If you turn off the visibility of all the parts you want to hide, they will be removed when you create the derived part. When you send the model or STEP file to your customer, they get a dumb solid which can't be taken apart.

Hi Harrison,

I believe you need to use Shrinkwrap workflow. In the Shrinkwrap dialog, you can use simplification options to remove the details.
