Hi! When I edited the T&P subassembly and tried to check T&P styles. I am getting a warning saying the following.

"The current tube & pipe style uses content that is not currently available in the Content Center. Please check your Content Center settings or modify the style."

Do you see the same warning? If not, maybe you are using a custom CC library that I don't have.

Many thanks!

I haven't used tube and pipe since Inventor 2017. I remember flexible hoses being able to auto update if one of the end points was moved. I'm using 2020.2.1 and if I move the part an end is attached to the flexible pipe run gets errors and doesn't update.

When I edit the location of the end fitting the Hose01 feature gets a Comatose error while the Flexible Hose feature becomes sick.

Do flexible hoses not like having the end point moved any more?

Hi! It should work. Is it a fixed-length spline? Please share the files here. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

This example is not using a fixed length. I started playing with fixed length since I believe it's a new feature since I've used T&P last, but after issues I went to making a basic example. Attached is the example I have shown in the previous post. Everything looks good until any constraint on End:2 is modified. The path updates but the actual pipe sweep feature doesn't.

I went and tried out the default hydraulic hose which uses the Inventor Parker library and that works.

So it seems there is an issue with my custom library which has a copy and modified version of the default hydraulic hose. I removed all of the unused styles so there are no missing style errors but my flexible is still not updating.

I've attached an updated test assembly along with the library file that has my custom hose in it. I'm going to try making a fresh copy of my custom hose and see if that changes anything.

Update:

Copying the default parker hose to my custom library and editing the hose size didn't end up working. Still getting the errors when modifying a pipe run after it's been created.

When using the dataset you attached and locating the library you provided in project setting, the flexible hose works fine when updating the route or changing the style. Please see the attached image for IDCL library locating.

Could you please let me know what error you will see? If the workflow on editing is provided, it should be helpful.
