Can I change the parameters of a custom column in a CC part?

So I have a cable tray, they come in 10' and 12' lengths. If we need a shorter length we cut the tray's and join them together. So we'll only ever order 10' or 12' sections. We have a custom Length to do this. Our part has limits of 10" to 144". I want to have 2 rows w/ different limits for the custom length. That way if we have a 45' length of tray we need and want to order 5, 10's or 4, 12's or any other configuration we have the option. I only need 2 lines in the table but if the 10' part can be input as 11' we've got a problem. Vice versa for the 12' option. Right now we keep 2 parts but it'd be nicer to have just one.

You can create a custom formula for that column and put in min, max, increment and the default. Is that what you're looking for?

I'm not certain I understand. For the custom L column I have [10;144;;] which gives me a min and max of 10", and 144". How do I change that formula? Or are you referring to having a min/max in the part parameters?

I didn't realize you already had the custom formula..

You could also put in increment and the default too if you wanted.

Update: I read your original reply again.. Now I think I understand.. You want a custom formula for each cell and not the entire (vertical) cell. No this is not possible..

Thanks, I thought so but was hoping maybe not.
