Tangent Not Aligning?

I am running Inventor 2024 on Win 10x64.

Updated most recently.

I have scanned and checked my system for malware etc.

I have most recently suffered from the tangent command that does not correctly align lines and arcs.

My work is sensitive, researching cancer therapy.

The first image displays two arcs affected by a tangent command.

The second image zoomed in shows the arc lying beyond the reference arc rather than aligned with it.

Has anyone suffered from this problem?

After zooming, try Manage (tab) > Rebuild All, and perhaps also Tools (tab) > App. Options > Hardware > Quality.

Upon reflection, I believe the problem stems from using the Silhouette Curve to form an edge on a spherical part.
It worked fine up until a few days ago.
The silhouette creates OK but is not in line with the edge by around 0.05mm.

I have managed to measure the inaccuracy of 0.0025605 mm.
It may not sound much, but it is preventing my design.
Is there a way I can send you a screenshot rather than a JPG?

It would seem that the file had become infected somehow.
I created a new part of the solid and imported it into a new file, and the Silhouette Curve function worked correctly.
