Counterbore Depth Symbol

I can find a "solved" thread post from 2012 asking about it, but I don't see a solution. 8 years later, is there a way to add a symbol like the icon that adds the "<CBDPT>" note?

I guess you were talking about this idea. I don't think the original idea was fulfilled. There seems to be some misunderstanding here. Let me follow up with the project team.

Out of curiosity, what is the reason for wanting to add this symbol in the first place?

The format of your hole note, as shown in the dialog box screenshot, is already correct. The symbol shown on the button in question, to my knowledge, is not a standard drafting symbol. It is simply a combination of the standard symbols for counterbore and depth, to make a button icon that is distinct from the counterbore diameter button.

Unless I'm missing something, you're literally asking Autodesk to give you the option to call your counterbores out incorrectly. I suspect that may be a reason why the previous thread does not seem to have been followed up on.

I'm going through the entire list of hole callout formats, because where I work now there are some gaps. Some very different holes end up with the same callouts based on the formatting that is currently being used. And so I keep looking at that symbol to add <CBDPT> in a few places, and I wonder why not have one symbol that unambiguously means counterbore depth? I keep clicking on it to add <CBDPT>, why can't I use it in any other context? I can't imagine someone would look at that symbol and be confused as to the meaning.
