Hey guys

does anyone have an idea of how to create this shape using the loft feature?

Your Sketch9 does not have a single size or position dimensions and if I start dragging geometry - it does not behave in a predictable manner.

I would start by removing extraneous geometry and fully defining the sketches.

I traced this sketch from existing geometry. The dimensions don't matter that much. I'm just trying to figure out how to create a similar shape using loft.

do you want me to send the part again with the dimensions of the sketch?

Hi! I don't see a need to use Loft. Maybe the original file was using Loft. But, it only over-complicate the design. The nozzle can be replaced by an Extrude and Revolve or Sweep.

I can tell you are a beginner. Please do not use Loft. Loft is a powerful tool but it is not meant for beginner. You can end up with unwanted geometry and downstream feature failures that you cannot fix.

Many thanks!

Thank you for your reply. I don't really understand how i can create the nozzle by using extrude and revolve. Can you please elaborate?

Hi! Attached is a simple example showing how not to use Loft and achieve better result. The profiles in Sketch9 are poorly constructed. There is lack of tangent constraints and there are many overlapped segments. The geometry cannot just look right. They need to be precise.

Many thanks!
