Just enter in the stress analysis enviroment. Apply material, fix base faces, apply force.

Pay attention, your model can be subjected to buckling, and Inventor doesn't support buckling analysis. (Nastran IN CAD can do it).

this model has 10 section i applied forces in every section ... now i want apply the weight force of body on body for make sure if rectangular beam (legs) can endure all this force .. thanks alot

Hi,

is this the first time do you use this enviroment?

You can enforce your fundamentals with stress analysis in Inventor here:

not my first time .. but now i make design for work ... i need make accurate design ... in model i put the force acting in body ... but body weight also act in body i want put this weight force for make accurate simulation

I would use Frame Analysis and activate Gravity.

Attach your assembly here.

i am very confuse ... if i use inventor simulation for make linear static analysis to Make sure part endure lift loads ... why i need buckling analysis ? .. what is difference between buckling analysis & linear static analysis ?? ... @JDMather @admaiora
